GINGERFEST 2016
SATURDAY 4PM
NOVEMBER 19

November 19th will see Australian punk rock mini-festival GINGERFEST return for it’s third year. This year, organisers have decided to shift the things down the highway a little and move things to our nation’s capital. Canberra’s TRANSIT BAR will play host, with another impressive curated Australian line-up to make this a night to remember.

As well as being a celebration of inclusive punk rock culture, GINGERFEST is a festival born to celebrate the life of Nicky Sofer-Schreiber (aka 'The Ginger Ninja'), who was tragically murdered in his own home in Canberra in late 2013. One of punk rock’s most dedicated fans, The Ginger Ninja was much loved throughout the punk scene in Australia and abroad. Gingerfest 2016 coincides with Nicky's 30th birthday, so like all good 30th bashes - this one is gonna get wild!
